Books by the Banks: Cincinnati USA Book Festival will be held on Satuday, October 17, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Duke Energy Convention Center. The event is free and open to the public.
I'll be there with The Secret of the Belles and some promotional items from the Marietta Gone With the Wind Museum-Scarlett on the Square. I hope you'll stop by in you're in the area.
Some of the wonderful authors who will be there include historian James Claypool with his book, Our Fellow Kentuckians: Rascals, Heroes and Just Plain Common Folk; Robert Wallace - one of my college professors from Northern Kentucky University - and his recent book, Thirteen Women Strong; Gary Walton, another wonderful professor from NKU, and his book, The Prince of Sin City; and Lisa Klein with a book I'm dying to read, Two Girls of Gettysburg, having just returned from a tour of the Gettysburg Battlefield and new Visitors Center.
